I know your name, And I see we're the same
But in my anger, I'll put you in danger
Though I'm on a stage; Playing a part for every age; The one that's all the rage

I know your name, And I see we're the same
You're the mirror, And as I draw nearer
It's you I'll try to see, But I'll only find me, Unhappily

I know your name, And I see we're the same
That's why, in my fear, I threw those rocks at that mirror
Denial I'd try, Making you die, But destruction was always, only, Mine.
I didn't put this in my "short selections," because it has a deeper meaning than that recreational poetry, and really expresses several truths I believe about humanity.
