So, yesterday it rained a lot, which is uncharacteristic of SoCal. It rained most of the day, and once it stopped, there was an intense wind of cold from the ocean nearby. Suffice to say the entire day probably didn't get above 60. Which I enjoyed immensely. :3 This morning I found my car covered in a layer of permafrost, which is also unusual. I seriously considered not going to class that morning, because hey, my heater is broken and I can't drive it with all this frost on it... And then I remembered that my father and I were supposed to have breakfast by my school after class, so I got down to it and just scraped the frost off my windows... with my fingernails... It was difficult, and I was cold and irritable... but if I got to see the sight I saw when driving every time that I did that, I would do it every morning for the rest of my life... The sun above the horizon, but behind the rain clouds from the day before; the rain clouds being the only clouds in the sky, that there were sporadic breaks in the clouds which let the sun shine in rays upon the buildings, roads and cars in the distance, and especially that behind it all, the mountains were perfectly dark. It was true beauty, the kind that you may never see in your lifetime. The thing itself was so beautiful that it made everything it touched, beautiful too. I doubt I will ever see anything quite as beautiful ever again. As a direct result of the previous day, this entire day has been well below the 80s, probably in the high 60s, low 70s, even though there wasn't a single cloud in the sky. I never thought I would have to use my window de-fogger after 9:30 am... This day, simply put, has been perfect! I hope that everyone who reads this, and Knows what I'm talking about, and every person who Thinks they know, but aren't sure, and everybody who reads this and doesn't Understand, will have one of these days in their lifetime. I hope even more that they'll recognize it when it happens. I hope with a fiery passion which burns within my soul that you'll Remember.
